How to Travel from Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh?

Haridwar is located approximately 220 kilometers from Delhi and is well connected by road and rail to major cities across India. The Shatabdi Express, one of the fastest trains in India, operates daily between Delhi and Haridwar Railway Station. Rishikesh is just 25 kilometers from Haridwar, and you can easily find a taxi or bus for the short journey. The nearest airport to both Haridwar and Rishikesh is in Dehradun. For a smooth and comfortable experience, traveling by private car with a driver is the best way to complete the Golden Triangle tour, including Haridwar and Rishikesh. A newly developed road allows for a 4-hour drive from Delhi to Haridwar. Additionally, state transport buses and Volvo coaches are available for travel between Delhi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Your journey begins upon arrival at Delhi Airport, where one of our representatives will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the pre-arranged hotel. After a smooth check-in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, step out to explore Delhi’s lively local markets, brimming with vibrant colors, cultural flair, and energetic charm.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing & Transfer to Agra (210 Kms)
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi, visit the majestic Jama Masjid, the historic Red Fort, and explore the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your tour of New Delhi, visiting iconic landmarks such as India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Later, drive to Agra and check in to your hotel. Relish a mouth-watering dinner before retiring for the night at your Agra hotel.

Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (250 Kms)
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Taj Mahal to witness its breathtaking beauty at sunrise. Afterward, return to the hotel for a healthy breakfast. Check out from the hotel and visit the magnificent Agra Fort. Then, depart for Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. After lunch, continue your journey to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, embark on your sightseeing tour of Jaipur with our knowledgeable tour guide. Begin with the majestic Amer Fort, where you can experience a thrilling elephant ride. Next, visit the iconic Hawa Mahal and take a scenic drive past the picturesque Jal Mahal. Enjoy a tasty lunch before continuing your exploration with visits to Jantar Mantar and the impressive City Palace. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local culture while shopping at the bustling markets. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur – Delhi (260 Kms)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and driven back to Delhi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 6: Delhi – Haridwar (200 Kms)
After breakfast, proceed towards Haridwar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and begin your sightseeing tour of the city. Explore the stunning temples of Haridwar, including the Daksha Mahadev Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, and Pareshwar Mahadev Temple. Don’t miss a visit to the sacred Har Ki Pauri. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 7: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (25 Kms)
After breakfast, drive towards Rishikesh. Upon arrival, visit the famous Bharat Mandir and the iconic Laxman Jhula. After exploring, return to Haridwar for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 8: Haridwar – Delhi (200 Kms)
Proceed to Delhi as per your flight schedule. You will be transferred to Delhi Airport to board your flight for your onward destination, taking with you sweet memories of your Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Haridwar, and Rishikesh tour.
