This is a combined North and South India holiday that covers Delhi, Agra and Jaipur along with key South Indian destinations such as Kochi, Munnar, Mysore and Mahabalipuram. It is designed for travellers who want to experience Mughal monuments, Rajput heritage, backwaters, hill stations and temple towns in one trip.
The tour is commonly planned as an 11 to 14 day itinerary, depending on the number of South Indian cities included. A typical version is around 12 days, allowing time for Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and a short South India circuit with Kochi, Munnar, Mysore and Mahabalipuram.
The Golden Triangle part includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The South India extension can include Kochi, Munnar, Mysore, Ooty, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, Madurai or Trivandrum, depending on the selected route, travel days and your interest in hills, backwaters, temples or beaches.
Yes. The Taj Mahal is included during the Agra sightseeing programme and can be planned for an early-morning visit when the itinerary allows. The Taj Mahal is generally closed to regular visitors on Fridays, so the sightseeing schedule may be adjusted if required.
Domestic flights are commonly used to connect Delhi or Jaipur with South Indian cities such as Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai or Trivandrum. Train travel can also be considered for selected sectors. Flights or train journeys are arranged according to your travel dates, seat availability and preferred routing.
